Hoof & Hound operates as a short-term animal welfare and rescue service providing direct care to companion animals that are lost, abandoned, mistreated, or without owners.
Our focus is on the provision of temporary shelter, rehabilitation, and recovery support, including basic care, veterinary coordination, and behavioural support where required, with the goal of restoring health and wellbeing so animals can be safely rehomed into suitable permanent homes.

At Northern Rivers Hoof and Hound Inc, our mission simply comes from the heart. Janine and Liz have always had a deep love for animals — it’s just part of who they are. Helping animals in need isn’t something they chose; it’s something that feels natural to them.
