Meet Liz – Animal Advocate & Horse Lover
Liz has always had a deep love for animals, from tiny pets to majestic horses. From a young age, she dreamed of owning a place where she could care for animals in need, and today that dream is a reality. On her property in the Northern Rivers, Liz cares for rescued dogs, horses, chickens, and pigs, providing safe shelter, medical care, and a nurturing environment.
For Liz, rescuing and rehoming dogs and horses is not just a passion—it’s a way of life. She is committed to giving every animal in her care a loving forever home, where they can thrive, experience companionship, and feel safe.
Her work with Hoof & Hound helps vulnerable animals in the Northern Rivers get the second chance they deserve.
Meet Janine – Animal Advocate
Janine has always been passionate about helping both people and animals. While her day-to-day work is as a cosmetologist, where she applies care, patience, and rehabilitation skills, her true passion lies with rescued animals.
Janine has dedicated her life to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs, horses, and other vulnerable animals in the Northern Rivers, ensuring they receive the medical attention, love, and support they need.
Through Hoof & Hound, Janine works tirelessly to create safe shelters and loving environments for animals who have been neglected or abandoned. Her mission is to ensure every animal in her care has a smooth transition to a forever home, where they can thrive and experience lifelong companionship.
