Meet Prince Perito
PRINCE THOUGHT HE’D FOUND HIS FOREVER… BUT HE’S STILL WAITING
Our beautiful Perito, now affectionately known as Prince, needs us to start his search again.
We genuinely believed Prince had found his forever home. Sadly, after initially committing to his adoption, his prospective adopter has changed their mind.
For any rescue, this is heartbreaking — but Prince has done absolutely nothing wrong. So we pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off and start again for this beautiful boy. ❤️
Prince is a 5-year-old American Staffy who is desexed, microchipped and house-trained. He is a strong, loyal and loving boy who forms a wonderful bond with his people.
What Prince needs more than anything is stability. We are looking for an experienced, confident owner who understands his breed and will provide him with structure, exercise, ongoing training and, most importantly, a home where he can finally feel secure.
Prince would be best suited to:
🐾 An only-dog home where he can be your number-one boy
🐾 An experienced and confident dog owner
🐾 Older children rather than a young family
🐾 Secure fencing and a safe environment
🐾 Someone committed to continuing his training and giving him plenty of exercise, companionship and love
Prince can be selective with other dogs, so we are not looking for a busy multi-dog household. We want to find the home that suits him, rather than trying to make him fit somewhere that doesn't.
Please don't let the words American Staffy stop you from seeing the dog behind the breed. Prince is an individual who deserves to be judged on who he is and given the opportunity to finally belong.
We know his person is out there. Maybe we just haven't reached them yet.
